Every so often you hear horror stories regarding humans who work with wildlife. Something happens and the animal turns on them, either seriously injuring them or causing death.

It can be a very stressful job always having to be on your guard. So when Dolph Volker, a volunteer at the Cheetah Experience in South Africa, decided to take a snooze on the grass, he didn’t expect this to happen. Dolph has actually been working hard for months to gain the trust and confidence of these animals. Usually they do not take kindly with humans interrupting their daily routines. Dolph found out that his hard work paid off upon waking from his nap.

Check this out!

It’s one of his cheetah buddies who actually comes up to Dolph and kisses him! Then he lies down and snoozes away himself right next to Dolph! Amazing and no doubt a lot of work to gain that kind of trust with these kind animals.
