Everybody knows that 120/80 is the normal human blood pressure, but according to new guidelines from the ESC Association, this has changed. The guidelines say that the new normal blood pressure is 140/90, although the limit is set lower for diabetics and the elderly.

This changes things for everyone – previously, everyone went to the doctor when their blood pressure was raised to 139/89, but now there’s no need to take meds in this case as this has become the new normal, and shouldn’t increase the risk of heart attack or stroke.
