Roberto Gonzalez was one of Audie L. Murphy Memorial Veterans Hospital's very first patients. Over 40 years later, he was admitted again for the last time. The paralyzed horse trainer's body was failing him, and he didnt' have much longer to go. His last wish was to see his horses one more time. So, hospital staff and Gonzalez's family arranged to bring his two horses for a visit. It was a priceless moment.

The horses were gentle, understanding, and appeared to kiss Roberto as he lay there in his hospital bed. He opened his eyes for just a few moments to look at them. His family will be forever thankful that they were able to have that moment. Share this inspirational story with your family and friends!
