If those living in the city went to the park for at least 30 minutes a week there would be 7% fewer cases of depression and 9% fewer cases of hypertension. A new study arrives that highlights the important benefits of living in contact with nature.

Scientific research increasingly reminds us that living outdoors and in natural environments is good for health. Spending time in a park is one of the possibilities that those who live in the city have more easily available.

Taking a walk in the park is one of the simplest options for regaining well-being. The study in question was conducted by the University of Queensland. The researchers found that going to the park reduces the risk of developing heart problems, high blood pressure, anxiety and depression.

The benefits for the health of citizens and also from the point of view of savings for public health would be immense given that according to experts the risk of meeting the major problems of modern life increases if we never spend time in contact with nature.

Researchers have known for a long time that going to the park is good for your health and now they are trying to determine exactly how long it can benefit you. In their opinion, already with 30 minutes a week you can have positive results.

Now experts suggest that city dwellers visit the parks regularly for at least half an hour, even every day. After all, going to the park costs nothing, is good for you and can be really advantageous to feel better.
